Carol Anne Hilton, MBA is the CEO of the Indigenomics Institute as well as the founder and president of the newly established Global Center of Indigenomics . A recognized First Nation’s business leader and adviser, Carol Anne is of Nuu chah nulth descent from the Hesquiaht Nation on Vancouver Island.

Carol Anne has led the establishment of a line of thought called #indigenomics- the building and strengthening of modern Indigenous economies.   Her work has been recognized with numerous awards and most recently with the ‘Excellence in Aboriginal Relations Award’ from the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. Carol Anne is the author of’ Indigenomics- Taking A Seat at the Economic Table.’

In BC, Carol Anne advises on the BC Emerging Economy Taskforce and the BC Indigenous Investment Council for the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. She served as a senior advisor to the federal Finance Minister on the Canadian Federal Economic Growth Council and holds numerous other academic and thought leadership appointments across Canada.
