David is the founder and CEO of Value Match, founded in 2013. As a Senior Executive, David has a track record of designing and implementing commercial/procurement strategies aligned to organisational goals in both the Public and Private Sector.
David has lead teams in both the UK and Internationally, including Hong Kong and the USA, delivering improved commercial outcomes across numerous industries and sectors including the US Federal Government, Airline Industry, Financial Services, Manufacturing, ICT Services and Professional Services.
David’s last UK Public Sector role was with the Government Procurement Services (now known as the Crown Commercial Service) in which he was the Managing Director. During his time in this role David took a central role in setting out a significant programme of transformation extending over a two-year period, delivering savings of £5.2bn for the UK Taxpayer, and was a key part of the Efficiency & Reform Groups approach to delivering substantial Public Sector efficiencies.
Prior to his role as Managing Director, David implemented Category Management across the Public Sector as part of the Office of Government Commerce, which included establishing a national spend analytics programme, increased use of eCommerce, amalgamation of buying organisations and enhanced collaboration across all parts of the Public Sector.
