Rosie Dunscombe

Co-author, Disclosing Impacts in Financial Statements, Capitals Coalition

Rosie’s work focusses on natural, social and human capitals assessments, including strengthening the connections with biodiversity, financial accounting and ESG.

​Rosie has over 17 years’ experience advising business, finance institutions and civil society on sustainable business strategy. She combines her qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and environmental economist with a pragmatic and positive approach, to help organisations integrate natural and social issues into business decisions.

​Having started her career with the accounting firm PwC, she has worked for business both as an accountant and environmental economist, and most recently as Technical Director for the Capitals Coalition.

Rosie sits on the Climate Disclosure Standards Board’s Technical Working Group and the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ (ICAEW) Sustainability Committee. Rosie is a Fellow of the ICAEW; holds a Masters in Environmental Technology – specialising in Environmental Economics from Imperial College London (Distinction); and has a BSc in Mathematics from The University of Warwick (1st class).
