Simon Faivel is a Director in Social Ventures Australia’s (SVA) Consulting team, having been with SVA since 2007. His focus is on managing outcomes and he leads SVA’s work on Social Value and Social Return on Investment (SROI).
Simon is also an accredited Social Value and SROI trainer and practitioner. He is the Founding Chair of the Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA), Co-Chair of Social Value International (SVI), and is on the international SVI Methodology Sub-Committee.
Prior to joining SVA, Simon was a strategy consultant at Accenture, a management consulting firm. He has also started, owned and operated two companies. Simon has travelled extensively, working and volunteering in challenging and remote locations in China, Papua, India and Australia. He holds a BSc. and BA (Hons. in Philosophy) from Monash University.
Simon has shared his expertise and perspective in many articles over the years, the most recent being in a Humans of Purpose podcast on the Ethics of Covid-19, and the SVA Quarterly articles Seven pitfalls to avoid in outcomes measurement and SROI revolution or evolution.
