Naina Subberwal Batra
While yes, philanthropy can make us feel good, it is also an essential strategic goal and the foundation for early-stage social finance.
Naina Batra will share her vast experience and compelling view on how #philanthropy will shape our post-COVID future at #SocialValueMatters 2020 on September 29th.
This year’s Social Value Matters 2020 will be the largest gathering of social value experts offering tools and concrete actions for people across sectors to address inequality and climate change.
Naina Subberwal Batra is the Chairperson and CEO of the AVPN, an organization that’s building a high-impact philanthropy community. The social investing ecosystem is growing in leaps and bounds in Asia. However, it’s a continent with the greatest number of natural disasters, and huge amounts of income inequality. AVPN’s mission is to bring together a diverse group of funders to address these many social challenges.
Naina’s leadership over the past 6 years has grown the AVPN membership by more than 4x, and it now encompasses foundations, impact funds, corporations, universities, and governments that are investing money, people, and knowledge into the social sector.
